  9. This message is for all of you out there. It doesn't matter
  10. what language you speak, which colour your skin is or of 
  11. what nationality you are.

  14. 1. WHAT IS THIS?
  15.  
  16. In many countries there is violence against other people,
  17. because of their behaviour, their look or their point of
  18. view. Violence cannot be accepted in any form. In order
  19. to decrease prejudice and stop violence, people have to
  20. understand each other. This can only be achieved by
  21. listening to each other and trying to understand the other
  22. one. We want to get people in contact.

  25. 2. WHAT CAN YOU DO?
  26.  
  27. In order to understand other people's attitudes, you have 
  28. to talk to them. Therefore we encourage the exchange of 
  29. ideas and problems of people who live in different 
  30. countries. You'll be surprised to know that the people
  31. have the same problems in every country and that one even 
  32. watches sometimes the same TV program. Of course, we want 
  33. also that you exchange computer programs. But this is not 
  34. the main goal. Trying to understand and to pass the 
  35. information to your friends and family is more important. 
  36. We hope that this package will distribute as fast as 
  37. possible.

  40. 3. HOW TO GET IN CONTACT
  41.  
  42. There are several possibilities to get in contact with 
  43. users in other countries.
  44.  
  45. a) Have a look at your PD/SHAREWARE-programs, there you 
  46.    can find a lot of addresses. Even if the programmer can't
  47.    write back, they will surely know somebody who is 
  48.    interested in writing back.
  49. b) Send e-mails addressed to 'ALL'. Introduce yourself and 
  50.    write about your work & hobbies. 
  51. c) Advertise in a magazine, preferably in a foreign.
  52. d) Look out for local club, which have contacts to other 
  53.    people.
  54. e) Write to the addresses below. By doing so, you give
  55.    permission to give your address to other users. Addresses
  56.    may be used for privat subjects only. Commercial use 
  57.    is illegal.

  60. 4. TO THE PROGRAMMER
  61.  
  62. Included in this package are two IFF-pictures and the 
  63. C-SOURCE-CODES of the pictures, so you can easily use them 
  64. in your own programs. You're free to use other pictures 
  65. and texts, but make a statement about your opinion. Please
  66. bear in mind, that a uniform appearance is always an 
  67. advantage. Put the pictures in your info-requester or 
  68. display them at the beginning of your program. Utilities
  69. and programs which display this, will be mentioned in
  70. future releases of this package, or may be even included.

  73. 5. TO THE USER
  74.  
  75. You may display the pictures with the help of viewer 
  76. programs, such as 'display', 'multiview' or 'mostra'.
  77. Put these commands into your 'user-startup' and then
  78. the pictures will be displayed when booting the computer.
  79. Also included into this package is a program by
  80. Hanns-Holger Rutz which writes a special Bootblock to
  81. your disk, displaying the picture. Be careful with this
  82. program, because you may erase important data!!!

  87. This idea came quite spontanous up to me, so I didn't have
  88. any time to ask people, if I can release their addresses.
  89. But you can be sure, that this section will be updated 
  90. regularly. Everybody who wants to become a member, please

  115. We know that this won't change the world, but maybe some 
  116. other people start to think and recognize that we can 
  117. only change the world together. We need a world, where
  118. everyone can live without being afraid of their opinion,
  119. their nationality or their skin.

  122. 8. DISKMAGAZINE
  123.  
  124. If we get many responses, we will start with a disk-
  125. magazine, that will report about news from all over the 
  126. world. So write!
